Come and chat about your housing situation.
Whether it’s unaffordability, a complicated relationship with your landlord/agent, not getting the service you require, conflict over end of end a tenancy, the dispute of a deposit, or the state of your property.
This meeting will be focused on thinking about our next steps and actions as a collective.
We are trying to build a support network for renters:
– providing a space for tenants to share their problems in a safe space that offers solidarity and anonymity.
– a central point of information for renters rights.
– fighting housing discrimination, providing support to and stand in solidarity with those faced with housing discrimination.
– developing new campaigns and actions relating to specific housing issues in the city.
The meeting will take place at Open House Oxford (36 Little Clarendon Street, OX1 2 HU) , 6.30-8pm on Wednesday 24th April. Keep posted via our facebook event.
NB. Open House is an accessible venue but without a wheelchair accessible toilet. You can find more details on their website www.openhouseoxford.org.
If there is anything we can do to make it easier and more comfortable for you to attend this meeting then please let us know.
